外贸函电中词汇的文体色彩

Stylistic Coloring of Words in Foreign Trade Correspondence

Abstract

Today, under the background of economic globalization and economic integration, foreign trade correspondence has been the most important links of foreign trade activities as a tool of business communication. Foreign trade correspondence is of a special style and has formed its own language characteristics gradually in the foreign trade activities. Also, word is an indispensable element of language formation. In the foreign trade field, a lot of new information and advanced technology emerge, with the development of science and technology. Beyond all doubts, in the process, there are many new words. Each word has its own stylistic coloring respectively in foreign trade correspondence. This thesis mainly analyses the words’ features and uses in foreign trade correspondence from five aspects: popular words, technical words, abbreviation, literary words and neologism through a lot of examples. Also, in terms of pragmatics, according to politeness principles and other relevant theories such as ‘3c’ principle, words can be further studied on how to be applied in foreign trade correspondence and what effect they can produce.
This thesis firstly introduces foreign trade correspondence and its main features. Then, in terms of stylistics, the thesis simply explains what stylistics is and elaborates the stylistic features of foreign trade correspondence. The third part details stylistic coloring of words in the foreign trade correspondence from five aspects. One should employ words appropriately to achieve the purpose of more efficient business communication in foreign trade correspondence.

摘要

外贸函电作为1种商务交流的工具,在经济全球化和经济1体化的大背景下，它是对外贸易往来中很重要的1个环节。外贸函电是1种特殊的文体,在贸易活动往来中逐渐形成了自己的语言特征,而词汇又是构成语言的1个最重要的因素。随着科学技术的不断发展,外贸领域中不断有新的信息和先进的技术出现,无疑,大批的新的'外贸词语随之涌现。在外贸函电中，这些词呈现出它们各自的文体色彩。本文从以下5个方面即常用词汇、专业词汇、缩略词、书面用词和新词等通过大量的实例全面地分析这些词汇在外贸函电中的特点和用法。同时，从语用学的角度来讲，根据礼貌原则和相关的理论如‘3C’原则等对词汇进行深入的分析研究，它们怎么样应用到外贸函电中，以及能产生什么样的效果。
本文首先介绍了外贸函电及外贸函电的特点，接着，从文体学的角度，简单的解释了什么是文体学，又阐述了外贸函电的文体特征。第3部分从5个方面详细地分析了外贸函电中词汇的文体色彩。在外贸函电中，正确使用词汇将会达到有效的商务交流目的。
