诺曼时期法语对英语词汇的影响

Abstract
The Influence of French upon English has a very important position in the study of the language development in English history. Many linguists and scholars have studied this topic. Norman Conquest is one of the most important and influential factors in history. This thesis made a systematic analysis on the influence of French on English in Norman period. For existing side by side for a long time, English and French have intimate relationship. French has had strong influence on English, which is much more direct and observable in vocabulary, thousands of French loan words poured into English in that period. Then this thesis analysis these French loan words from six parts in detail in Norman period, and choose some English words compare with their original words of French. This thesis also uncover the historical and cultural roots and relate the influence of French on the whole society of Britain. In brief, these French loan words reflect advanced French culture, and the advanced French culture improve the development of British society and culture. Learn some knowledge about it can help us to understand the English vocabulary and their original words of French better. And it helps us to learn English better, and also to promote the exchange of French, English and Chinese culture.

摘 要
法语对英语的影响在英语的发展的研究中具有非常重要的地位，很多语言学家和学者都对此做了大量的研究。诺曼征服就是此次研究的大背景，同时也是影响英语发展的1个最重要和最有影响力的因素。本文系统地分析和研究了诺曼时期法语对英语的影响，英语和法语做为两种关系非常密切的语言已存在了很长1段时间。法语对英语有着很深远的'影响，最明显最直接就体现在词汇上，在那个时期成千上万的法语借词涌入英语当中。然后本文从6个大的方面分析比较了法语借词和其法语词源，并揭示了其历史文化背景和其对整个英国社会的影响。这些法语借词体现了先进的法国文化，这些先进的文化促进了英国社会的进步和文化的发展。了解这些知识将有助于我们更好的了解英语词汇及其法语词源，从而更好的学习英语，促进中﹑英﹑法之间文化的交流。
