听说并进,英语交际我能行

        “使儿童获得一些的感性知识,以激发他们学习英语的兴趣和培养能力,使学生敢于大胆开口说英语。”这是小学阶段英语教学目标之一,所以我们每一位英语教师首先必须担负起培养学生良好听说能力的重任。英语是一门语言工具课,语言的习得过程就是输入和输出的过程,而输入就是听,输出就是说,在培养良好的英语学习习惯中,最基本、也是最首要的一项就是要让学生养成良好的听、说习惯。在课堂上,要让学生听得专注,说得,只有这样,学生才会慢慢学会用英语交流。下面,笔者以实例进行说明。
        主题:
        “颜色”这个题材的可塑性较大。针对一年级小朋友易于接受直观形象思维和无意注意占优势等年龄特点,教师决定贯彻兴趣性原则,采用“寓教于趣”的教学模式进行教学。教师作为引导者,通过可爱的图片、悦耳的歌曲、家喻户晓的童话故事和竞争性的游戏等途径和媒体,让学生在充满童趣的口语课堂里唱歌、看影片、玩各种游戏,在活动中感受英语、练习口语、尝试运用英语。
        细节:
        一、热身
        1. 创设情景,带领学生进入动物世界。
        (一个Animal show 的图片投影在大屏幕上。全班学生被分成了五个小组,每个小组的第一个同学戴上一种小动物的头饰,面向全班同学。)
        师:Hello, boys and girls.What can you see in the picture?
        生:I can see a cow/dog/cat/duck/pig.
        师:Let’s say a rhyme—I ama cow.(放)
        生:(朗诵并表演,唱到本组动物的时候站起来)
        2.复习。
        师:Let’s play a guessing game. Look, I have a box of toy animals. Before we play this game, you have to answer my questions. (Pick up different toy animals to ask five questions) What’s this?
        生:It’s a cow/dog/cat/duck/pig.
        师:(Put away the toys) Boys and girls, I’ll pick up one toy and put it into a bag (Put the toys into the bag. The children can’t see what animal it is. And then package it. ) Guess, what animal is it? Is it a cow? Is it a dog? Have a guess.
        生:Is it a cow?
        生:Is it a pig?
        二、学习新知识
        1.学习新语言
        师:(Open the courseware and point to the screen. Students can see a picture.)Look! This is Mr Lin. He is a magician. This is MadamLiu. She is a magician, too. Today they are going to have a magic duel, to see who is the best magician. Let’s see.
        生:(带着好奇心,津津有味地盯着大屏幕,脸上不时露出紧张、惊奇或开心的表情。)
        师:(The movie is over.)Boys and girls, what animals can you see just now?
        生:A duck.
        师:Very good.What colour is the duck?
        生:It’s yellow.
        师:Right. It’s yellow. It’s a yellow duck. We can see a yellow duck. What else can you see?
        生:A yellow dog.
        生:A yellow pig.
        生:……
        2. 练习
        师:(Hold up different pictures and ask questions.)What’s this?
        生:It’s a yellowcat.
        生:It’s an orange dog.
        生:It’s a red pig.
        3. 扩展练习
        师:Do you like milk?
        生:Yes.
        师:What colour is the cow?
        生:It’s white and black.
        师:Yes.当一个物品有两种颜色的时候,我们应该怎样表达呢?
        生:在两种颜色之间加and.
        师:Very good.奶牛是黑白相间的,我们说:It’s white and black. Now, look at this picture. What colour is the ball?
        生:It’s white and black.
        师:Right.(Hold up another picture.)What colour is the bee?
        生:It’s yellow and black.
        师:(让学生看不同的图片回答。)
        师:(Point to the screen, the students can see the third part of the courseware.)Now, let’s have another competition. Please look at the screen. Every group has to answer one question. If your answer is right, your group will get one star.(Click the mouse, a white cat appears.) Group One, what colour is the dog?        生: (Student from Group One)It’s blue and white.
        师: Right. Group One can get one star. Group Two/Three/Four/Five/Six/Seven, look, (Click the mouse, another picture appears) What colour is it?
        生: (Students from Group Two/Three/...) It’s……
        三、运用
        1. 师:Look at my skirt.What colour is my skirt?
        生:It’s green and white.
        师:Yes. Look, what colour is your cloth? (Point to a student’s cloth.)
        生:It’s red and white.
        师:Verygood! Howard,what colour is your pencil-box?
        生: It’s blue and yellow.
        师:……
        2. 师:Let’s play a game. This game is called“Bingo”.Look at the screen. (Project the bingo form on the screen.)There are nine pictures in the form. Listencarefully, andcolour thepictureyouhear.After colouringthreepictures, if your coloured pictures can linked as a straight line, you will win and have to say,‘Bingo!’(Give the students an example.) Understand?
        生:Yes.
        师:Let’s begin. The first one, a blue and white bird.
        生:(找出小鸟,并填上蓝、白色。)
        师:The second one, a yellow table.
        生:(找出桌子,并填上黄色。)
        师:The third one, a red chair.
        生:(找出椅子,并填上红色。)
        部分学生:Bingo!
        师:(将部分学生的作品投影在屏幕上,展示他们的漂亮的图画和得胜的表格。)
        生:OK!
        师(小结):You reallydida verygood job today! Let’s see which Group is winner. (Count out which group has the most stars. And give stickers to the winner group.)
        评析:
        作为一种语言,必须融于一定的情境之中。在英语课堂上,教师应以满腔热情,采用新颖多样的教学手段,创设生动活泼的语言环境,营造轻松愉快的课堂气氛,最大限度地给学生以听说的机会。在教学过程中用英语组织教学,并通过直观的教具、丰富的体态语、多样的声音等更多的教学形式辅助教学,让学生尽可能多地接触英语。通过长时间的训练,就会激发学生说英语的积极性、主动性,培养学生直接用英语思维、表达的能力。在小学阶段,尤其是中、低年级的学生,大多善于模仿,能大胆开口。但也有一部分学生因为害怕出错而羞于尝试。这时,教师应有意识地给予他们更多的说话机会,哪怕只说出一两个单词,哪怕表达中存在语言错误,都应及时地加以肯定和鼓励,使他们逐渐树立“我也能说英语”的信心,鼓起“我也要说英语”的勇气。案例中,教者采取了小组比赛的形式,引导学生互相合作,积极参与,教学效果很好。每一个孩子都有强烈的自尊心、自信心,教师应以平等的眼光看待每一位学生。一旦学生体验到了成功的喜悦,克服了胆怯心理,增强了自信心,培养良好的听说习惯也就不再是一件难事了。
        疯狂英语创始人李阳曾说:车子是开出来的,英语是说出来的。看、听的最终目标是为了让小学生主动模仿学说。让学生在听听、看看中理解语意,并按照自己的兴趣模仿发音,逐渐养成主动模仿说英语的习惯,让学生在玩中学、做中学,给他们一个轻松和谐的语言环境,让英语教学活动充满活力。
        好的习惯是成就一生的基石,让人终身受益。良好的听说能力不会生成,它是一个长期有意识培养的过程。
        因而,小学生良好听说能力的培养可谓任重道远,我们应努力创设浓郁的英语学习氛围,为学生提供优质的听说平台,愿英语听说教学之花绽放得更加美丽。
